Bindy Pritchard and Emily Paull @ Perth Festival’s Literature & Ideas weekend

Friday 21st February @ The University of Western Australia

The full program for the Literature & Ideas weekend of Perth Festival has been released and our two debut authors from last year, Bindy Pritchard and Emily Paull, will be attending.

You can catch Bindy on Saturday, February 22 at 12.30pm at the Alexander Lecture Theatre of the University of Western Australia for an in conversation with Susan Midalia about Fabulous Lives and the art of writing prose.

Emily Paull will be in conversation with Michelle Johnston at 3.30pm the following day in the same location. She will be discussing her collection, Well-behaved Women, which weaves a delicate portrait  of the expectations of women in contemporary Australia.

You can also hear each read from their debuts during the Slow Read sessions. Emily will be reading alongside Caitlin Maling, Nandi Chinna and Katherine Johnston for Words Out Loud at 1.15pm on the Saturday. Bindy will follow her a few hours later, at 5pm, and will be reading  alongside Heather Rose, Catherine Noske and Ingrid Laguna for Women Who Read.

Bindy and Emily’s in conversations are both ticketed at $19—you can purchase tickets for Bindy’s event here, and Emily’s here. The Slow Read sessions are free.
