'The Margaret River Space is the ideal writers retreat, offering studio space in the peace and tranquility of the bush. Wherever you choose to write you are surrounded by books, creating the perfect writing environment, free of distraction and looking out into treetops. The living areas are beautifully furnished, spacious and private and the upstairs areas open onto a sunny deck.
I had the pleasure of using the Space for ten days in September, rising early to write until the early afternoon, then spending the remainder of the day exploring the local area. I didn’t need to go far to find inspiration. Beyond the house, you are in the middle of one of the best wine growing areas in the the country and you are never more than ten minutes drive from the spectacular limestone coastline. There are caves to explore, walks to be taken and rugged coastal scenery to be enjoyed – some (or all) of which will inspire and inform your writing.
I cannot recommend the Space highly enough for its seclusion, the atmosphere generated by the owners’ obvious love of books and learning and the sheer beauty of the surrounding area.'
